Louise Gray uses brightly hued, boldly textured garments and employs a wide range of materials – nothing is quite what it seems in Gray's work. Contrast is key and Gray reworks traditional embroidery, print, knitwear and woven techniques to create modern folk. Louise Gray has been supported by Fashion East, NEWGEN and Fashion Forward, and has collaborated with TOPSHOP, Nicholas Kirkwood to name but a few.
Temperley London celebrated its 10th Anniversary last year and Creative Director, Alice Temperley, received an MBE for her outstanding services to fashion. 2012 looks just as exciting with the opening of the brand's first flagship London store in November and also the welcoming of ALICE by Temperley to the Vodafone London Fashion Weekend Schedule.
ALICE by Temperley captures the spirit of Temperley but for everyday, using early Temperley shapes and creating easy feminine pieces with a sense of fun. There is an eclectic use of prints and fabrics such as chiffon, French lace and italian leather thus creating a strong and feminine look.
Twenty8Twelve launched in 2007 under the helm of Sienna and Savannah Miller. The design reigns have since been passed on to Creative Director Elsa Elphick, a long time member of the design team. She has infused the existing ethos of this authentic London brand with new flair and character. References to film, culture, art, the masculine and the feminine all encompass the Twenty8Twelve personality. Each season new characters inspire and evolve the collection and the likes of Tali Lennox, Alexa Chung and Roisin Murphy all consume it.
Born and raised in Brazil, Issa London's Creative Director, Daniella Helayel was always surrounded by sun, sea, nature and an easy-going attitude to life. After a stint in New York, Daniella left for London where Issa London was born - it continues to be recognised for glamorous dresses in striking prints, vibrant colour combinations and beautiful fabrics. Over the years, Issa London has been embraced by celebrity fans including, Eva Mendes, Scarlett Johansson, Keira Knightley, the Duchess of Cambridge, Beyoncé and Madonna.
Launched at last season's London Fashion Week, Zoë Jordan's self-titled label has fast become a favourite with those in the know. Leading boutiques and fashion titles have all rushed to stock and feature her ultra refined, form-focused designs while celebrity fans include Keira Knightley, Nicole Sherzinger, Poppy Delevingne, Helena Christensen and Lady Gaga.

Vodafone London Fashion Weekend would like to give special thanks to the expert beauty and hair styling teams from Elizabeth Arden and TONI&GUY who will once again be working tirelessly behind the scenes to showcase the season's latest make-up and hair trends on the catwalk runway. |
